We have a CR3000 onsite in a remote location. It had been up and running smoothly for approximately 3 weeks with mulitple sensors. The instrument went offline for a reason unknown. When it came back online, we were notified that there was no program found.
From the office we can access the information from the CRS but there is no data available. It does show battery output and both the power battery and lithium battery show adequate voltage.
What are some reasons that the program would have been deleted?
The program will not magically disappear. And what is a "CRS"?
Someone
- Deleted the file
- Formatted the drive space
- Sent a new Operating System
- Used CRBasic Save, Compile, and Send without checking RunNow and Run On Startup (thanks Janet)
- Stopped the program (not deleted)
A program
- Deleted the file
Use FileControl to check the CPU drive. Also check the WatchogErrors, Low12VCount, Log5VCount, and StartUpCode in the Status table.

I agree with this reply. Programme cannot be automatically lost. There was some problem from your side, which can be by mistake. Check CPU drive.
