Data point tool tips in RTMC

The new tooltip feature of RTMC is great - being able to click on a given point of a line to see the time and value of the data point is invaluable.

Unfortunately, this is let down by the fact that it appears the value of the data points are being rounded to the nearest whole number in some situations (which we have not identified).

Is there a setting somewhere to correct this, or is it simply a bug?

edit: hah! as soon as I go to take a snapshot of what I mean on an RTMC graph that exhibits the problem, it has suddenly disappeared - the tooltips are showing their correct precision. So it appears there is no setting, it's some sort of odd timing?

edit2: after restarting RTMC, the values were given with correct precision, but after a short while (40 seconds?) the behaviour returned:
