CR1000 with LoggerNet 4.0 on Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
I have seven tasks set up to run on a schedule. I have the schedule collection enabled to collect data from the station every 5 minutes. The tasks work fine for a few days, but then stop working.
I have to rewrite the .bat files that do the data splits and uploads before it starts running again. Then it runs for a while and stops again. I thought maybe it was due to automatic Windows updates, but the tasks have stopped running again & there were no Windows updates.
My batch files basically look like this:
Upload batch files:
copy C:\Campbellsci\LoggerNet\dataoutput.htm C:\test_folder
Split batch files:
C:\Campbellsci\LoggerNet\SPLIT.EXE C:\Campbellsci\LoggerNet\datasplit.par/r
The only difference between batch files are the .htm & .par files. They work great when I open Task Master and manually run the splits & uploads, but they won't automate.
I just want the tasks to run as scheduled and stay running and would appreciate any help! Thanks!
You may want to start by downloading and installing the patch for LoggerNet 4.1 (there were changes made in that version).
If you still experience problems, please provide additional information, such as the frequency the tasks are run and the messages in the Task Master logs. Also, when the tasks stop running, if you open Windows Task Manager, do you see Splitr.exe still running as a process?
