Hi
I wonder if I got a malfunctioning CR1000.
When I connect my CR1000KD to the CR1000 CS Port I'm currently working, there is nothing on the display.
If I put it on another CR1000, it works.
I tried setting the faulty cr1000 to defaulr in the "Device Config Util" but no luck.

I would check your power on the datalogger -- check the battery voltage and use a voltmeter to ensure you have 12V and 5V on the respective channels of the datalogger.
Also, are you using the same cable when visiting both dataloggers? If not, it could be the cable.

Hi Dana
Sorry I didn't respondsooner. I think I missed to check for mail notification.
The logger dosn't supply the 5V.
Is there a fuse to replace or is it a job for your workshop.
If I'm allowded without busting the warranty I can do it in my own workshop. (ESD enviroment and I'm an electronic engineer)
Please call the Campbell Scientific office for your area and work with them for additional advice. In general, the products need to be returned to CSI for repair. It would be good to work with an AE over the phone to ensure that the unit does indeed need to be returned and we are not overlooking something.

Dana W.
