Extending Cables on 10 HS Sensors

Good Day

I am using a CR1000 with an AM 16/32 connected to 18 (10HS) moisture sensors..

Because of the positioning of the logger and sensors I had to extend the lenght on some of the sensors... Maximum 10 m..

I noticed quiet a significant change in the output mv reading after adding the cables which was expected due to the resistance in the extended cables..

Is there anyway I can compensate for that error with increased cables.. and was i correct in adding that 10 m of cable.
