URGENT - How to connect TRD100 with serial commands

Markus Mar 11, 2011 10:38 AM

Projekt 1:

We have a measuring network of 20 Stations each equipped with Datataker-Logger DT85 AND TDR100 AND 3 SDMX50, Operating time 20 Years.

On each SDMX are 6 Sensors Type 622 with cable-lenth from 3 to 7 meters connected.

The SDMX50 are connected with RG58 cables: TDR->2,5m->SDMX50->3,6m->SDMX50->3,6m->SDMX50

The maximum cable-length is 16.7 meter

The DT85 is connected over the serial-connection to the TDR100.With the DT85 I can send and receive serial commands.

Up to now it's possible to address a Mux and read out the moisture with the command "GMO" - get moisture.

BUT! - The Output is now always around zero, even when a sensor is underwater.

My questions are now:
1: How do I have to preset the TDR100 EXACTLY to get proper values?
2: What accuracy has the result?
3: Is it possible to store the sensorspecific data for each sensor into the TDR100?

Thank you for any help
