RTMCwebs files

seth Feb 22, 2011 11:06 PM

I would like to take the RTMC web server output and host that on a separate computer. RTMC claims to make html files but I have not yet been able to locate them. Where do the html files created by RTMC web server reside? or is there a way to host RTMC web server output on another computer? Thanks

RTMC Webserver serves web pages it generates on the fly.

It can be installed on a separate computer to Loggernet but still serves the web pages itself.

RTMC Pro can be configured to generate images on a timed basis that can be used or incorporated in pages served by another web server. Those files can written directly to a mappable drive or ftp'ed to a remote server.

Thank you for the quick response.

How do I generate images in RTMC Pro that I can transfer to my desired host? Where do those files reside on the hard drive?

With your project open in the designer screen, and assuming you have a recent version of RTMC Pro, click on the project menu item and then "Configure snapshot & ftp" You can write the files to whichever local drive you wish or send them off via ftp, as you will see.
