CardConvert Utility

ABarkwith Feb 16, 2011 02:54 PM

Hi,

I am converting output from our Eddy Cov system into the TOB1 format using CardConvert and analysing the output using EdiRe. All works well, however, we would like to look at a data resolution below 1 min. This is not an option in CardConvert, is there another way to do this?

Regards,
Andy

Could you explain further? What's the frequency of the data you are working with and what output format are you creating?

I did a quick test and Card Convert has no problem converting subsecond TOB1 data to ASCII.

Does the TOB1 file actually contain sub minute data? If the logger is not saving data at sub minute intervals then it will not be available for download or conversion.

We are collecting at 10 Hz and want to compare CO2 measurements averaged over second with another laser system. We would like to create 1 Hz TOB1 files from the raw (.dat) EC output.

Andy.

I don't know if you already got help from somewhere else or not, but just for the record, if you data is recorded at 10Hz with a one of our dataloggers you CAN convert it using the CardConvert tool in Loggernet with no issues.

If you are getting corrupted file error, that is a complete different story. In that case your card is corrupted and the data needs to be repaired.
