I'm trying to use the set point function in RTMC Pro and so far haven't had any luck. I'm attempting to create a value for precipitation collected in our tipping bucket since the last time our interval snow board was cleared. It seems like it should be working (the value increases with new precip), but the set point cannot be changed from RTMC-RT. Is this possible with a CR10X? Is there something I need to enable in order to send the datalogger a set point?
Thanks,
Alex
You need to have a variable in the public table to set. You also need to have the public table collected (not written) by Loggernet in your station setup screen.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there's any public table in Edlog, only in CRbasic. I have the variable set up in the Input Locations Editor and it is outputting in the dat file, I just can't change it from RTMC-RT.

You cannot change data in Final Storage, only in input locations.
If you continue to have problems, you may want to contact the CSI office for your area, sending them a copy of your project file and the versions of RTMC & RTMC Run-time you are using.
One thing to check -- make sure that the versions of the RTMC development tool and the run-time engine are the same.
