Screen/Image Size Differences for a Single Workspace in RTMC Pro/Run-Time

wishtorace Nov 30, 2010 08:37 PM

I was curious if anyone could help me with RTMC Pro/Run-Time. We have recently gotten a new weather station here at school and I am responsible for making new images for our website using this software the professor bought.
The problem I am encountering is our need/want to have different screens/images of meteorological data of different sizes. For a basic current conditions page we would like to have a image ~600x~700 pixels but for a more detailed page we would like to have a image ~1024x~1024 pixels. When configuring a workspace in Pro Developer, we can set this screen size, however, it is applied to ALL screens and not just one.
In attempt to get around this, I made a second workspace with the other desired size of screen(s) and tried to run it at the same time as the other. The Run-Time program can only run one workspace at a time and therefore won't run the smaller screens.
Does anyone have any feedback on this situation? Any help is appreciated!

I was able to create two projects (.rtmc2) and run them at the same time using two different instances of RTMC_run-time.exe.

I was able to launch multiple instance in two different ways

1) With LoggerNet 4 installed, Navigate to C:\Program Files\Campbellsci\RTMC and open RTMC_run-time.exe for each project

and

2) With LoggerNet 4 Admin installed, enable the "Launch Multiple Clients" option from the toolbar "Options" menu. Right click on LoggerNet toolbar, select "Options", enabled "Launch Multiple Clients" from the "General" tab, and applied / OK'd. Then, two launch two instances of RTMC_run-time.exe, I just clicked the toolbar's RTMC Run-Time entry twice.

Thanks for the ideas and prompt answer! (sorry I got distracted by another project for awhile and just now got back to this.)
