CR3000 and Gill MetPak II

Does somebody have experience with a MetPak II from Gill and a CR1000 or CR3000 (RS232 acquisition)?

Is it the datalogger that asks the MetPak to send the data, or does the MetPak send continously the data?

Pierre,
Briefly looking at the MetPak II manual, the default communication seems to be RS232 and transmits data the data string 1/second. See page 23 of the manual.
I would suggest using SDI-12 with either logger as it's the simplest form of getting the data into the logger.
