We have a dial up system using a few VS1 Modems as well as Comm 300s, and 310s. We have two computers in our system that refuse to connect to a VS1. I have tried all baud rates and several Initialization strings with no result. There is an audible difference in the connect song when trying to connect to a VS1, resulting in constant failures.
Does anyone have a cure for this problem? It seems to be isolated to certain computers while other work fine. We have experienced it with both laptops and desktops.
