Has anyone had experience keeping ice off a satellite antenna? We're using the Yagi RHCP antenna with a TX312 transmitter and think it may be getting iced over as we occasionally get a stretch of dropped/error-filled transmissions. It's a very humid site that has been staying right around freezing temperatures. I've been looking at hydrophobic coatings for antennae and would be interested if anyone's had success with that or any other solutions.
Thanks!
I recently did a consulting project where I developed independent CR1000 code for a Stevens GOES transmitter. The antenna they loaned to me for the project actually had a cover to prevent icing of the antenna.

Thanks! I'll check them out.
