Cr10x programming in Edlog, PC208

wiwinr Aug 19, 2010 02:04 AM

Dear Campbell,

I am currently using cr10x data loggers to measure and record geotechnical sensors, programming them through edlog.

Recently, I found that I need to measure a sensor that is time dependent, which means that the output needs to be correlated to the date the sensor was first installed.

I am aware that we can use the output flag to record the time stamp on the data logger. But is there a function to retrieve the calendar date (in days) so I can perform arithmetic calculations on them?

Thank you.

Warm regards,
Wiwin

Welcome Wiwin,

Try a P18 (Time) instruction with option code of 3. From the Help: Store current year, day, hour, minute, and seconds in five consecutive locations.

Make sure you have 5 consecutive input locations allocated for the results.

Let us know if you have other questions.

Regards,
Janet

Hi
I am currently using CR10x data loggers with sentek moisture sensors to measure moisture content at depths and programming them through edlog. I need to connect >12 individual probs to a CR10x logger via SDI12 card. At the moment I have 2m x 2 probs with 6 sensors (6 depths) attached to each and each probe is connected with SDI12 card to the logger.
Is ther a way to increase Rep >12 using edlog program?
