I currently use lnbackup.exe to backup LoggerNet every night. I use the backup.configuration file to force the backup file to be created on a network drive, so that I don't have all of my eggs in one basket. This works fine, but it means that I have only one backup file available at a time. I tried using the -Append Time option, but my testing suggests the BackupFilename entry in the backup.configuration file overrides this option.
I'd like to keep a week's worth of daily backup files on hand. The most obvious way to do this would be to create seven scheduled tasks in LoggerNet, and have each one run once per week. For this to work, I need to create a different backup configuration file for each day of the week, and have lnbackup use the appropriate one.
My question is this: can I control which configuration file lnbackup.exe uses, or is it hard-coded to only use the file named Backup.Configuration?
Is there any documentation about the command line options for lnbackup?
Thanks!
