Hello everybody!
I have a problem with Pakbus Network that is driving me insane by now. I have studied all manuals, reinstalled the CR1000 OS (Version 16) and renewed all the settings and I don't have any idea what else to do now.
I have a number of CR1000 (5 pcs) to connect via GPRS to a server that is running Loggernet 3.4.1. Already about a dozen CR1000 units is working fine on this server, some over telephone line, some over internet, some over GPRS. They are all using different TCP ports on this server and are all set to PakBus Adress 1.
Now the new set of CR1000 is to be installed, and I want them to connect via GPRS (SC105 adapter on CS/IO port, SDC 7 port chosen in Logger setup, Wavecom Fasttrack Supreme Modem) over one single TCP port (firewall issues) with different PakBus IDs. They are all running (or are expected to…) under one PakBus Port in LoggerNet. GPRS connection works individually for all of these CR1000, so I assume that settings in the logger itself are correct. The crazy thing is, if only one at a time is powered, it can connect to the server and communicate with LoggerNet, independent of it's PakBus ID.
But the very moment a second Logger is powered, it cannot connect. If the first one, that was actually online until then, is switched off, the second one can connect. This problem is reproducible in every configuration, which means: Every CR1000 can connect individually, but not more than one at a time (if more are powered, then the one that is first on the GPRS network takes the place). The network connection between the Fasttrack modem and the network provider is also established for every logger, the LED on the modem is flashing slowly, indicating that connection is established.
I wonder if there is any setting I have missed or something. This is driving me nuts and I have spent a lot of time on it right now. I would be very happy if anyone could help me.
Thank you very much in advance !!
I have replied to this by direct email. For any other readers who are interested the ability to accept incoming calls via one port, from many loggers is a feature added in Loggernet 4.0
I am also facing the same Challenges on GPRS like when i connect One station it works fine but as soon as i establish second station both stations doesn't respond.
I am following the CS-GPRS Manual. Changing the IP Port used for Call Back and Pakbus Port both for Second station.
What should i do.
I am using the Loggernet 4.0 Only.
Can you please tell me the settings for establishing the Network.
Thanks
