I have a CR10X that is outputting battery voltages between -14 and 26V. Obviously these aren't correct. I recently changed out an HMP45 that was having similar random measurements, I changed that sensor and then another HMP45 started giving bad readings which it still is.
The question is whether this is indicative of another problem, should I swap out the logger? Any ideas?

Sounds like a sensor has failed, perhaps an HMP45C but maybe something else, too. I vote for that before blaming the logger. To test, start unwiring sensors from the CR10X wiring panel and watch the input locations as you do it from loggernet or a keypad. So, only remove one thing per execution interval. If it's a broken sensor at some point (hopefully) you'll remove something and see that the readings go from funky to fresh.
I would venture a guess that one of the logger input channels is over the 2.5 Vdc input limit. Just measure all the inputs with a voltmeter and remove the offending sensor.

OKay, I was able to visit this site. I replaced the snesor head on the HMP45 so hopefully that will work. I checked the input voltages on all sensors and nothing read over 2.5 V.
I did notice a few strange things. While most every test came out as a zero, I obtained the following readings:
EX1: connected to AM416 showed an increasing negative voltage, my meter reading would decrease down to -160mV before it reset and declined from zero again.
Similar readings on the 2 SE channels connected to this multiplexer.
The new HMP45's channels read a constant 0.5 and 0.4V respectively.
Any ideas on this?
