When a CR800 is physically a leaf node in PB network, it'll still work as the IsRouter setting is 'True'. Then I am wondering what is the benefit of Not set it as a router when it is actually a leaf node? Communication efficiency? Power efficiency?
Thanks
I got the answer from other source, to share it here:
'If the CR800 is physically a leaf it can still be configured as a router. Being a router but acting as a leaf this device will create undue traffic on the network. It will try to exchange a fair amount of information with other routers on the network.'
