Hi,
We are using multiple CR216X dataloggers to send data wirelessly to a central computer with LoggerNet and CSI Webserver.
Unfortunatly it often happens that a CR216X can loose connection and will be offline for a period. But in Run-Time and CSI Webs the latest value is showed, until next collection is successful. I would like to have a function to indicate when no data is collected for some period.
In Run-time I'm using the "No data alarm" function to indicate that a Wireless station is offline. But this does not work in the CSI Webserver, which is the main interface used by our customers.
Is it possible to have an indication/alarm of "no data" in the CSI webserver as in Run-Time?
Regards,
Leif Johannesen
CsiWebServer 1.1 uses the same alarms engine that is used in RTMC 4.2 and it supports all of the alarm types. We have encountered a problem recently where, if alarms were placed within groups in the project, the generated web page failed to honour the alarms. That may be what is happening in your project.
I have older versions than that running.
Run-time 3.2
CSI Webserver 1.00.93
Can I upgrade to the latest versions, or do I need to buy new software for this to work?
You can update the Run-time version for free from www.campbellsci.com/downloads
The CSI Webserver should be a free upgrade too, but for some reason the patch is not on the website. You can get an upgrade by patching RTMC Pro to version latest version (if you have version 4 already), or if not can I suggest you contact your local support office to get an upgrade sent to you.
Ok. I will try to upgrade the software.
Thanks for the support.

Failure to post the patch was an oversight -- we'll get it posted.
Note that the problem with grouped alarms that jtrauntvein points out above is in 1.1, but it will be resolved in a soon-to-be-released 1.2 version.

The CSI Web Server path is once again available from our web site.
