Dear all,
I wonder why in the "Network Services" tab, the CR1000 configuration offers more than one line to enter PakBus/TCP Client Connections.
I tried to put two Loggernet server Domains there, but only the one in the first line can get connection.
Is it possible to configure the CR1000 or CR3000 logger to connect to two Loggernet servers via GPRS (without having a static, public IP at the logger)?
(I tried to find this in the manual, but couldn't)
Best, Birk
What you are trying should work, firewalls etc allowing. One factor that may stop it working though is if the Pakbus address of the Pakbus ports used on the two Loggernet servers is the same. If they are then the logger will get pretty confused when it makes the connection to the second server.
To avoid this change the Pakbus address of one of the servers via Setup, Tools, Loggernet Settings, Pakbus settings. Set the address of the pakbus port being used for this connection to something other than the default, somewhere in the range of 4000-4090 (to avoid commonly used default addresses).
Great, it works. Thank you !
(Now with your explanation it is also very obvious..)
