Hi,
I want to use Loggernet remote for a couple of projects (currently 4).
Everyone who is involved in one the projects should be able to add or to modify the stations related to his project.
But, he/she should be not able to modify the settings of one of the other project.
If a user have the rights of a netadmin, the user is able to change all the settings in loggernet remote. As I figured out, to setup a station you will need at least the rights of a netadmin in Loggernet remote.
Is it possible to allocate stations to a user in Loggernet remote, so the user (with the rights of a netadmin) is just able to change the settings for the allocated stations.
cheers
Heiko
The LoggerNet security model allows station exceptions to be applied to specific accounts. This makes it possible to have an account that is read-only in most instances to take on operator privileges for a specified set of device names. You can configure this in the Security Manager client by selecting the account in question and then selecting the "Advanced" item from the "Edit" menu. A dialogue should then appear that allows you to select the stations for which the selected user will have operator privileges.
