We need to switch over to LoggerNet Admin so that we can run LoggerNet as a service on a virtual server hosted in our University's computer room. We are currently using the 'regular' version of LoggerNet running on a PC that logged in to our network all the time and collecting data via HTTP.
My question is it possible to use a 'regular' version of LoggerNet to access a LoggerNet Admin running on a server? Or does the LoggerNet Remote version have some special connection to allow connection to LoggerNet Remote??
Thanks,
Larry Treadaway
To connect to a remote computer, you'll need LoggerNet Remote or another copy of LoggerNet Admin. "Regular" LoggerNet does not have the ability to log in to a server other than LocalHost.
