Can't update table definitions from CR800

galexioza Feb 29, 2012 07:41 PM

Hi,
A couple of weeks ago I updated the program on a CR800. All I changed in the program was the multiplier for the rain gauge.

I normally communicate with the logger through a cellular modem. I haven't any communication issues in over 2 years. Since updating the program LoggerNet tells me that the table definitions are suspect, but despite numerous attempts it fails to update them successfully. I can hear the modem connecting to the logger when I dial in, so it's not a problem at that end.

I can still connect directly, view the readings and download data. In fact, I loaded the program by connecting directly because it failed when I tried to load it via the cellular modem. Could this be a clue as to the cause of the problem?

I appreciate any help in resolving this problem, as regular collection of the data is very important.

What kind of "cellular modem" do you have at the datalogger?

A Wavecom Fastrack Xtend (GSM).
