Task Master Crash

Spol Feb 28, 2012 06:36 PM

I have a LoggerNET version 4.1 build 4.1.0.16. The setup has just one station and a task to call a perl scritp after successfull call. Now the task master crashes after few seconds it is open. I can only see that my task has gone and I cannot add a new one because of the crash. The error message is the following :
The Task Master was unable to load its information properly. If the toolbar is not open, then it must be started before the Task Master can work properly.

If the toolbar is open, reconnect with the server by either using the "File|Change User" menu item (preferrred) or, if necessary, restarting the toolbar

I can no find "File|Change User" and the tool bar is open and working as the data is collected properly once per day.

I re-installed the latest patch available in the download with no changes at all.

Is there anything I can do to recreate my task ??

Thank in advance,

You may have a corrupt TaskMaster.INI file. Close LoggerNet and then delete or rename the C:\Campbellsci\LoggerNet\sys\inifiles\TaskMaster.ini file. When you start LoggerNet again a new TaskMaster.ini file will be created. If the Task Master runs fine then it was a corrupt INI file. Define your task again in the Task Master.
