Which ports to use for Modbus

Hi,

I am trying to connect to a variable speed drive via Modbus using a Cr200 or a Cr1000. Can I only use the Rs232 port or can I also use Com1 to Com4 on the Cr100 or the Com1 (c1/c2) on the Cr200.

You can use COM1..COM4 on the CR1000. C1/C2 are supported in software on the CR200, but you should be aware these control ports only output 3.3 V signals so may not be compatible with some RS232 interfaces.
