CR200x and decagon 10hs

Hy

I have a CR200x and I want to power and read a soil moisture sensor decagon 10hs. This sensor has 3 wires (supply voltage, analog out and groud.

My doubt is about the difference between put the "ground" wire into the "G" terminal for the ground of SW Battery( because I'm powering the sensor with this output) and put the "ground" wire into the groud terminal of the SE1(where I'm reading the signal of my sensor?

All the ground connections in the CR200X are the same and connected to a large ground plane. For some applications you still might consider grouping high power carrying ground connections to the G terminals but for the Decagon sensor it will make no difference so I would advice connecting them both together to the terminals next to the analogue input.
