CC5MPX reset button?

sufah Oct 29, 2011 05:17 PM

Hey everyone,

I've recently started using Campbell Scientific equipment at my new work place, so to say that im new at this is an understatement.

I have a lot of questions, but for not i'd like to know if there is a way to reset the cc5mpx to its factory settings. i 'lost' the IP that was assigned to it. tried to reconfigure using the A200 interface and device config but could not establish comm.
im running the trial version of the loggernet. Please advise.
Thanks

[never mind, issue was with the serial port]

It sounds like you got squared away. But just some related notes.

- If your computer is on the same network as the camera and you have UPNP enabled (enabling varies between MS OS versions), you will see the camera listed as a device on your network. From there you can launch the camera's web page, get it's IP, etc.

- Device Configuration Utility provides an easy method for resetting the device to factory defaults. Connect and click "Factory Defaults" and then apply them.

Thank You Mr Sam. I went with the 'factory defaults' route.
