I am trying to learn SPLIT and am having trouble figuring out how to use it hourly to make an hourly CSV out of a TOAS file that is set to append as the file is becoming too large for subsequent data handling.

You should send file enclose via mediafire or other host.
can you use excel to open the file and seperate them with ","?
In the Output file tab, select COMMA as the file format.
For the file name, instead of PRN make it CSV.
Mind you, the CSV file will NOT have Headers.
