dat file corruption

root Sep 22, 2011 09:12 PM

Hi,

I am saving data tables to a pcc card and when I try to look at them on my computer, through notepad or excel, it doesn't work and says the file is corrupt. I have a relative humidity sensor and a cr5000 data logger. What do I do?

Thanks

If you are using the CardOut() instruction to store data on the card, the datalogger will save the file in a format known as TOB3. This is a binary format and can only be parsed using Campbell Scientific tools such as CardConvert.

I can only use camp science software to convert from binary? How would I get this software?

Nevermind, I found the CardConvert on loggernet, but I'm not sure how to work it. When I try and choose drive E when prompted by Select Card Drive, and there isn't anything. Why can't I select the drive/directory with the files to convert? Because I can't get a binary file to convert, it says there are no conversions.

Thanks
