The CR1000 connected to Modmax Modem and use PPP connection. after investigation using sniffer program (our custome tools to investigate communication between devices) we found that CR1000 just send "A" in when "PPPOpen" is processed.
Previously OS was 17, now I upgrade to OS 22, but the problem still can not connect to FTP.
any idea?

The logger will repeatedly send an A until it is echoed by the modem (It is trying to send an AT command.). It will repeat this and a few other tricks until the modem does respond to it. It does not "dial blind".
So check the modem is set to echo and baud rates and cabling are correct.
